Founded in 1949, The Orcas Island Sportsmen Club is one of the oldest private, non-profit, community organizations on the island. The Orcas Island Sportsmen Club (OISC) presently offers a range of shooting programs for both the membership and non-member public.

OISC is located a quick two miles west of Eastsound, and includes shotgun sports fields, large-bore rifle range, sheltered small-bore rifle and pistol range, and clubhouse. The newly completed small-bore range is among the very safest in the State and OISC maintains Certified Range Safety Officers on duty at all active ranges. The Club is proud of it's tradition of safety, education, conservation, and community involvement.

Free instruction is offered on a limited basis for beginners from children to adults. Courses in firearms safety are periodically offered at nominal fees. Additionally, OISC hosts special events throughout the year which are open to members and the general public.
